Official rules

1. The hunt

The attiq.io Thrift Hunt is a scan-to-win experience. A participating thrift store hides one secret item. A shopper who scans that item in the Attiq app during the hunt window reveals it as the winner and may claim the prize offered for that hunt.

2. Who can play

Open to legal residents of the United States who meet the minimum age set for each hunt. No purchase is required to play the hunt itself. Full eligibility will be set out here once the rules clear legal review.

3. How to enter and win

Install the Attiq app, visit the participating store during the posted hunt window, and scan finds. Scanning the secret item reveals the win. The winner is verified by attiq.io before any prize is awarded.

4. Prize

The prize for each hunt is a $100 store credit provided by the participating store, redeemable at that store. How the credit is claimed will be posted for each individual hunt.

5. Verification and fair play

attiq.io verifies each win before a prize is awarded. Attempts to cheat, tamper with the app, or interfere with other shoppers void the entry.

6. Participating store responsibilities

Each participating store agrees to these terms as a co-sponsor of its own hunt:

• Provide one secret item that is in stock and keep it on the sales floor, unsold and in place, for the entire hunt window.
• Fund and honor the prize. The $100 store credit is redeemed for the verified winner at checkout, with no added purchase conditions beyond what is disclosed for that hunt.
• Brief staff so they recognize the winner's claim code, honor it, and keep the secret item's identity and location confidential.
• Display the provided Hunt signage in a visible spot for the full window, and take it down when the hunt ends.
• Promote the hunt as agreed, including social posts in the week before it opens.
• Give attiq.io accurate store location and hours, and permission to list the store and to allow in-store filming and use of the store name.
• Name a contact reachable during the hunt to resolve issues such as a missing item or a disputed claim.
• Run the hunt for the full posted window and confirm the prize was redeemed after a win.
