What attiq.io stores
attiq.io stores your scans, photos, and identification results locally on your device. We do not maintain a server side database of your private scans. When you submit a photo for identification, it is sent to our backend hosted on Vercel and forwarded to Anthropic Claude via the Vercel AI Gateway for analysis. Images are processed in memory and not retained after the response.
Public listings you publish
Publishing is the one case where content leaves your device. When you add an item to your public Attiq, we store that item's photo, its value and comp summary, and the display name, handle, region, and optional avatar you choose, so the public page at attiq.io can be served and shared. This content is public by design. You control what you publish, and removing an item or your profile takes the page down. We do not publish anything without your action.
What we do not collect
Unless you publish to your public attiq.io page or opt into a flow that requires it, we do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, or any personally identifiable information. We do not sell your data. We do not show third party ads.
Affiliate links
When you tap a marketplace destination such as eBay or Amazon, the link may be wrapped with our affiliate tracking ID. This allows us to earn a small referral commission from the marketplace if you complete an action. It does not change the price you pay or the user experience.
Anonymous device tracking
A random device ID is generated on first launch and stored locally on your device. We use that ID to track your daily scan count, your Pro subscription status, and your referral attribution. No personal data is collected unless you opt into a flow that requires it, for example the Donate flow where you choose a charity.
Referral program data
When someone uses a referral link to install attiq.io, we record the referral for attribution only. No bonus scans or other rewards are currently granted. No personal data is shared between the referrer and the referee. Neither party sees the other's name, email, or device ID. We only count the confirmed install.
Third party services
attiq.io integrates with the following third party services. Each plays a specific role and is bound by its own terms and privacy policy. Anthropic provides the AI identification model. Vercel hosts the web site and serverless backend. ScraperAPI fetches marketplace price data. RevenueCat manages subscription state through Apple in app purchase. Apple operates the App Store and processes payments. eBay Partner Network supplies affiliate links for eBay marketplace results. Amazon Associates supplies affiliate links for Amazon results. When you connect Depop or Mercari for one-tap listing, attiq.io stores an encrypted session token for that platform on our servers solely to post listings on your behalf. You can disconnect any marketplace at any time from Settings.
